David Brown, Jr. was last seen on stage in Cherry Lanes Theatre production of Move directed by Aixa Kendrick. Before that he took part in Seattle`s ACT Theater production of Flight written by Charlayne Woodard. He is best known for his work as Robert Earl Hayes in the Off-Broadway production of The Exonerated which was written by Erik Jensen and Jessica Blank. He was one of the only members from the original cast who was giving the opportunity to work on the movie The Exonerated which was directed by Bob Balaban and aired on CourtTV, with such notable actors as Susan Sarandaon, Brian Dennehy, Danny Glover, Delroy Lindo, and Aidan Quinn. TV & Film Credits: Law& Order Criminal Intent, Law & Order Trial by Jury, As the World Turns, and Deadline. Films: Out of this World, written and directed by Sakamoto Jungi, Lowroller written and directed by Michelle Cutler, and Brother to Brother written and directed by Rodney Evans. Off Broadway Credits: As You Like it (Tribeca Playhouse) , Up Against The Wind (New York Theater Workshop), Y2K written by Author Kopit ( Manhattan Theater Club), and The Gospel According to Paul directed by Andre Deshields (Judith Anderson Theatre).
While on hiateus from the entertainment world he has travelled throughout Asia and taught English as a Second language in South Korea

He received his theater training at the State University of New York Purchase and The City College of New York. He is currently working as an ESL teacher in New York City and looks forward to continuing to share his talents through education and arts and entertainment.
